We dry cure our own bacon in store, we use a nitrate free cure, just 2.5grms of salt per kg.
Our black bacon is steeped in treacle and then hung and air dried to allow the flavour to penetrate. Our bacon is nitrate free and contains no e numbers. We dry cure using a traditional sea salt, sugar and nitrite cure.
Thick sliced in store, black bacon is a real treat for breakfast & lunch. Delicious served on a fresh crusty bap.
350g .We recommend cooking on a slightly lower temp as the treacle can burn at a higher temp
